School shoe bows are small grosgrain ribbon bows designed to slide onto school shoes — adding a co-ordinated, polished touch to the full uniform look. How Do They Attach to School Shoes?
Lace-up shoes
Tie the shoe bow onto the laces themselves, either at the centre or to the side.
Velcro and strap shoes
Slide the bow onto the strap of a velcro shoe.
Bar shoes and Mary Janes
Attach to the bar strap across the foot. A bow on a bar shoe is the most classic school look.
Slip-on school shoes
Tie or pin the bow to the upper front of the shoe.
